The DOT Medical Exam is the most important qualification for any driver because it’s intended to help ensure the safety of the driver and others sharing the road. The Department of Transportation requires all CDL holders to receive periodic physical examinations from a DOT approved medical examiner.

What to expect with a D.O.T Medical Exam

  • Vision and Hearing Testing

  • Vital Signs (Blood Pressure and Pulse Rate)

  • Urinalysis

  • Physical Examination and Health History Review with a DOT Approved Medical Examiner

  • Completion of Medical Examination Certificate

Insurance is not accepted for DOT physicals at Health Strategies and payment is due at time of visit.
